About Ryder

Ryder was just 19 years old, a student at Texas Tech University, full of ambition, humor, and an infectious love for life. He was the kind of person who could light up any room he walked into and make everyone around him feel seen.

Ryder loved golf, music, and above all, his family and friends. He had a gift for bringing people together and always went out of his way to help others. His kindness wasn't just casual. It was who he was at his core.

On March 1st, 2026, we lost Ryder Harrington to a senseless act of violence here in Austin, Texas. While nothing can fill the void he left, the Ryder Harrington Foundation (RHF) exists to ensure his spirit of generosity, joy, and community lives on; touching the lives of others the way Ryder touched ours.
